Iowa High School Volleyball - Johnston over Western Dubuque

Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Western Dubuque Bobcats (Epworth, IA), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Dragons clash with the Prairie Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 8. Johnston will attempt to advance on its 20-9 season record.

With the loss, Western Dubuque drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Liberty (North Liberty, IA) to clash with the Lightning in a Mississippi Valley - Valley match on Tuesday, October 11. The Lightning come into the match with a record of 25-8. Liberty won 3-0 in their recent league match against Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA)
