California High School Volleyball - Leland edged by Milpitas

The Milpitas Trojans held off the host Leland Chargers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Trojans now have a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westmoor for a non-league test on Saturday, October 8. Milpitas will confront a Rams team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Capuchino (San Bruno, CA). The Rams record now stands at 13-13.
The Chargers (4-16) will now prepare for their test against Branham (San Jose, CA). The Bruins enter the BVAL - Mt. Hamilton test with a 18-3 record. In their last test, Branham held off Westmont (Campbell, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
