In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Venice Gondoliers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Mendez Jaguars.
The Gondoliers (39-7) will now prepare for their battle against University (Los Angeles, CA). The Wildcats come into the Western battle with a 21-10 record. In their last battle, University defeated Highland (Palmdale, CA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
