The Summit Shasta Black Bears volleyball team (Daly City, CA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Mercy Crusaders (Burlingame, CA)

The Crusaders (16-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Aragon (San Mateo, CA). The Dons enter the non-league challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Aragon defeated Sequoia (Redwood City, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Black Bears encounter the Sequoia Ravens (Redwood City, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 8. Summit Shasta will attempt to move on its 24-7 season record. The Ravens enter the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Aragon (San Mateo, CA).
