In Saturday's non-league contest, the North Sevier Wolves (Salina, UT) volleyball squad nudged the host South Summit Wildcats (Kamas, UT), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Wolves battle the Millard Eagles (Fillmore, UT) in a 2A Region 16 contest, on Wednesday, October 12. North Sevier will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record.

With the loss, South Summit moves to 14-13 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Morgan (Morgan, UT) to battle the Trojans in a 3A Region 13 contest on Tuesday, October 11. The Trojans go into the contest with a record of 18-6. Morgan lost 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Green Canyon (North Logan, UT)
