The Oregon Hawks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Thornwood Thunderbirds to 0 in the Hawks non-league victory on Saturday.

The Hawks now possess a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock Falls for a Big Northern game on Tuesday, October 11. Oregon will meet a Rockets team coming off a 2-0 league win over Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 24-2.

The Thunderbirds (14-10) will now prepare for their game against Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL). The Raptors enter the Southland game with a 9-18 record. In their last game, Rich Township defeated Thornton (Harvey, IL), 2-1, in a league game.
