Pell City Panthers (Pell City, AL) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Shades Valley Mounties (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 13. Pell City will attempt to advance on its 24-13 season record. The Mounties come into the match with a 11-17 record after their 2-1 league loss to Gardendale (Gardendale, AL).

With the loss, Pleasant Valley drops to 13-10 on the campaign.
