The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights held off the host Pipestone Arrows volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Knights now have a 24-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Peter for a non-league test on Saturday, October 8. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will confront a Saints team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN). The Saints record now stands at 12-2.
The Arrows (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN). The Chargers enter the non-league test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Westbrook-Walnut Grove held off Murray County Central (Slayton, MN), 3-0, in a league test.
