The West End Christian Crusaders volleyball team (Hopewell, VA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting The Carmel School Wildcats (Ruther Glen, VA)
The Wildcats (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Fuqua (Farmville, VA). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Fuqua defeated Banner Christian (Chesterfield, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Crusaders encounter the James River HomeSchool Eagles (Chesterfield, VA) in a VHSAA challenge, on Thursday, October 13. West End Christian will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Virginia Academy (Ashburn, VA).
