The McDonough Rams soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Great Mills Hornets to 2 in the Rams league victory on Tuesday.

The Rams now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they host La Plata for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 10. McDonough will play a Warriors squad coming off a 2-2 league North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Great Mills moves to 2-7 on the year. The Hornets travel to Patuxent (Lusby, MD) to play the Panthers in a Southern Maryland bout on Friday, October 11. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Patuxent won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Calverton (Huntingtown, MD)
