Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ) and the visiting Long Branch Green Wave (Long Branch, NJ), saw Neptune's soccer squad hold off Long Branch by a count of 5-4.
The Scarlet Fliers (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 1-9 record.
Next up, the Green Wave confront the Ranney (Tinton Falls, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 9. Long Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
