In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Butler Bulldogs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Porter Ridge Pirates.

The Bulldogs (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Sabres come into the non-league challenge with a 8-10 record. In their last challenge, South Mecklenburg was nudged by Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
