In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Westmont Sentinels volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Holy Trinity Tigers.

The Sentinels (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Providence-St. Mel (Chicago, IL). The Knights come into the challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Providence-St. Mel beat Christ the King (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the Christ the King Gladiators (Chicago, IL) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Holy Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Providence-St. Mel (Chicago, IL).
