Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Peninsula Catholic Knights (Newport News, VA) and the host Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA), observed Peninsula Catholic's volleyball team hold off Norfolk Collegiate by a count of 2-1.

The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Steward (Richmond, VA). The Spartans enter the contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Steward was tipped by Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA), 2-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Mighty Oaks meet the Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Yorktown, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 11. Norfolk Collegiate will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 11-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Spirit HomeSchool (Richmond, VA).
