The Henley Hornets soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Ashland Grizzlies to 1 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Hornets now hold a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Klamath Union for a 4A Skyline bout on Thursday, October 10. Henley will play a Pelicans squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Mazama (Klamath Falls, OR). The Pelicans record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Ashland moves to 2-5 on the year. The Grizzlies host Thurston (Springfield, OR) to play the Colts in a 5A Midwestern bout on Saturday, October 12. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Thurston won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lebanon (Lebanon, OR)
