The West Geauga Wolverines soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Kirtland Hornets to 2 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they host South for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 12. West Geauga will play a Rebels squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to North (Eastlake, OH). The Rebels record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Kirtland moves to 10-3 on the year. The Hornets host Lordstown (Warren, OH) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 16. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 1-12. Lordstown 1-1 in their recent league bout against Mathews (Vienna, OH)
