Next, the Cougars play the Knox County Eagles (Edina, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 22-5 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Marceline (Marceline, MO).

The Cardinals (17-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Clark County (Kahoka, MO). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 14-14 record. In their last challenge, Clark County was routed by Macon (Macon, MO), 10-0, in a non-league challenge.
