The Vikings (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against Byrd (Shreveport, LA). The Yellow Jackets enter the Division I District 1 contest with a 17-7 record.

Next, the Tigers battle the Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 9. Many will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Gators enter the contest with a 11-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Ruston (Ruston, LA).
