The Northtown Pumas volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Christ the King Gladiators to 1 in the Pumas league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pumas now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Josephinum for a Chicago Prep outing on Thursday, October 10. Northtown will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Walther Christian Academy (Melrose Park, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Christ the King drops to 7-10 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Cristo Rey St. Martin (Waukegan, IL) to clash with the CRSM in a non-league outing on Friday, October 11. The CRSM come into the outing with a record of 20-5. Cristo Rey St. Martin won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Rochelle Zell Jewish (Deerfield, IL)
