Nebraska High School Volleyball - Douglas County West tips West Point-Beemer

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Douglas County West Falcon (Valley, NE) and the visiting West Point-Beemer Cadets (West Point, NE), observed Douglas County West's volleyball team hold off West Point-Beemer by a count of 2-1.

The Falcon (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Arlington (Arlington, NE). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 6-18 record. In their last contest, Arlington was tipped by Raymond Central (Raymond, NE), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Cadets battle the Oakland-Craig Knights (Oakland, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 8. West Point-Beemer will attempt to move on its 12-13 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 21-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Lyons, NE).
