Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL) and the host Goshen Eagles (Goshen, AL), observed Straughn's volleyball team top Goshen by a count of 3-0.

The Tigers (17-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pike Liberal Arts (Troy, AL). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Pike Liberal Arts was knocked off by Brantley (Brantley, AL), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Eagles meet the Samson Tigers (Samson, AL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 12. Goshen will attempt to move on its 3-17 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 13-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Emmanuel Christian (Dothan, AL).
