In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Highland Rebels volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Izard County Cougars.

The Rebels (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Brookland (Brookland, AR). The Bearcats enter the 4A 3 challenge with a 25-3 record. In their last challenge, Brookland beat Pocahontas (Pocahontas, AR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Marshall Bobcats (Marshall, AR) in a 2A 2 challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Izard County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 11-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Omaha (Omaha, AR).
