Wapello Indians (Wapello, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team top the host Hillcrest Academy Ravens (Kalona, IA), 3-1 in a non-league contest.

The Indians (14-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lone Tree (Lone Tree, IA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 8-16 record. In their last contest, Lone Tree was knocked off by WACO (Wayland, IA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Ravens battle the Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves (Winfield, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 10. Hillcrest Academy will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record. The Wolves enter the contest with a 10-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Highland (Riverside, IA).
