With the win, Jefferson advances its record to 6-20 on the season. The Hawks host Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA) to face the Wolverines in a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. The Wolverines go into the test with a record of 15-13. Dike-New Hartford lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Union (La Porte City, IA)

The Wahawks now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ankeny for a test on Thursday, October 10. Waterloo West will face a Hawks squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Northwest (Waukee, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 33-4.
