In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Little River Redskins volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Wakefield Bombers.

The Redskins (24-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Rural Vista [Hope/White City] (Hope, KS). The Heat come into the Wheat State challenge with a 6-15 record. In their last challenge, Rural Vista [Hope/White City] lost by Onaga (Onaga, KS), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bombers play the Peabody-Burns Warriors (Peabody, KS) in a Wheat State challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Wakefield will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 6-15 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Junction City/St. Xavier (Junction City, KS).
