Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Pana Panthers (Pana, IL) and the host Mulberry Grove Aces (Mulberry Grove, IL), observed Pana's volleyball team top Mulberry Grove by a tally of 2-0.

The Panthers (19-4) will now prepare for their contest against Greenville (Greenville, IL). The Comets enter the South Central contest with a 7-18 record. In their last contest, Greenville was beaten by Wesclin (Trenton, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Aces meet the Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles (St. Elmo, IL) in a National Trail contest, on Thursday, October 10. Mulberry Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 15-8 record after their 2-0 league win over Altamont (Altamont, IL).
