Nebraska High School Volleyball - Winside over Niobrara/Verdigre

The Winside Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Niobrara/Verdigre Cougars to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Madison for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 12. Winside will clash with a Dragons team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Newman Grove/St. Edward (Newman Grove, NE). The Dragons record now stands at 6-14.

With the loss, Niobrara/Verdigre drops to 6-13 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to St. Mary's (O'Neill, NE) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 10. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 13-4. St. Mary's won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Archangels Catholic (Humphrey, NE)
