The West Point Dragons football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Apollo Hawks to 26 in the Dragons league victory on Wednesday.

In their next game, the Dragons face the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 16. West Point will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 36-0 league win over Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ).

The Hawks (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Yuma Catholic (Yuma, AZ). The Shamrocks come into the outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Yuma Catholic was nipped by Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ), 14-12, in a league outing.
