The State College Little Lions felled the visiting Shippensburg Greyhounds football squad by a count of 38-8 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Little Lions now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Carlisle for a non-league test on Thursday, October 16. State College will meet a Thundering Herd squad coming off a 32-0 non-league win over Cedar Cliff (Camp Hill, PA). The Thundering Herd record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Shippensburg drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Northern York (Dillsburg, PA) to face the Polar Bears in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 15. The Polar Bears go into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Northern York lost 42-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, PA)
