California High School Flag Football - Carlmont tops San Mateo

October 8, 2025: San Mateo, CA 94401

The Carlmont Scots flag football squad scored 18 points and limited the host San Mateo Bearcats to 0 in the Scots league triumph on Wednesday.

The Scots now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Menlo School for a non-league test on Friday, October 10. Carlmont will meet a Knights squad coming off a 13-12 league win over Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA). The Knights record now stands at 9-0.

With the defeat, San Mateo falls to 6-4 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Mills (Millbrae, CA) to face the Vikings in a Bay challenge on Monday, October 20. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 6-5. Mills lost 26-6 in their recent non-league test against Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA)
