The Eagles now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lubbock for a non-league test on Thursday, October 16. Abilene will meet a Westerners squad coming off a 45-6 non-league loss to Monterey (Lubbock, TX). The Westerners record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Coronado drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Caprock (Amarillo, TX) to meet the Longhorns in a non-league test on Thursday, October 16.
