In their next game, the Patriots play the Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 15. Albemarle will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 41-14 non-league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA).

With the defeat, Orange County drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Fighting hornets host Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to meet the Flying Flucos in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 15. The Flying Flucos come into the test with a record of 5-1. Fluvanna County won 28-14 in their recent non-league test against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA)
