In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Nansemond River Warriors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Deep Creek Hornets.
The Warriors (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies come into the non-league challenge with a 15-0 record. In their last challenge, Grassfield beat King's Fork (Suffolk, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hornets meet the Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 15. Deep Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record.
