In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Granada Hills Charter Highlanders volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the El Camino Real Royals.

The Highlanders (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Toreadors enter the challenge with a 13-11 record. In their last challenge, Taft tipped Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA), 2-1, in a league test.

The Royals now own a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Simi Valley for a non-league test on Friday, October 10.
