Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Brooke Bruins (Wellsburg, WV), 5-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Monroe Central advances its record to 3-12 on the campaign. The Seminoles host Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV) to clash with the Golden Bears in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. The Golden Bears come into the test with a record of 7-7. Oak Glen won 4-0 in their recent league test against Edison (Richmond, OH)

The Bruins now have a 1-19 record.
