In Wednesday's league outing, the host Rivers Red Wings soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights.

The Red Wings (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Brooks (North Andover, MA). The go into the Independent School outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, Brooks edged St. Sebastian's School (Needham, MA), 2-1, in a league test.

The Knights now have a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milton Academy for a Independent School test on Saturday, October 11. Buckingham Browne & Nichols will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 2-1 league win over Roxbury Latin (West Roxbury, MA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-2.
