Jackson Fighting Indians (Jackson, MO) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Central Tigers (Cape Girardeau, MO), 2-1 in a league outing.

The Fighting Indians (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Clayton (St. Louis, MO). The Greyhounds go into the non-league outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Clayton was edged by Kirkwood (Kirkwood, MO), 4-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Notre Dame Bulldogs (Cape Girardeau, MO) in a Southeast Missouri outing, on Tuesday, October 14. Central will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
