The Harrisburg Bulldogs routed the visiting Sturgeon Bulldogs softball team by a margin of 5-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northeast for a Class 1 District 8 battle on Thursday, October 9. Harrisburg will encounter a Bearcats team coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Slater (Slater, MO). The Bearcats record now stands at 14-4.

With the loss, Sturgeon moves to 8-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Paris (Paris, MO) to meet the Coyotes in a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. The Coyotes go into the test with a record of 7-2. Paris lost 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Canton (Canton, MO)
