The Putnam City North Panthers softball team (Oklahoma City, OK), was nipped 12-11 in Wednesday's non-league bout with the visiting Sapulpa Chieftains (Sapulpa, OK)
The Chieftains (8-17) will now prepare for their bout against Enid (Enid, OK). The Plainsmen go into the non-league contest with a 29-6 record. In their last contest, Enid nudged Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK), 12-1, in a non-league contest.
The Panthers now hold a 10-25 record. They play next when they travel to Bartlesville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 8. Putnam City North will battle a Bruins team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pryor (Pryor, OK). The Bruins record now stands at 25-11.
