In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Plantation Colonels volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Blanche Ely Tigers.

The Colonels (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Dillard (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Dillard was nudged by Northeast (Oakland Park, FL), 3-1, in a non-league game.
