The Highland Tech Rams volleyball squad (Gastonia, NC), dropped 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC)

With the win, Draughn improves its record to 16-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC) to battle the Cavaliers in a Western Piedmont 3A/4A contest on Thursday, October 9. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a record of 8-14. East Burke won 3-0 in their recent league contest against East Rutherford (Bostic, NC)
