The Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD) volleyball knocked off the visiting Suitland Rams (Forestville, MD), 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

The Spartans (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD). The Wildcats enter the Prince George's County 4A contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Northwestern notched a victory over Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Rams battle the High Point Eagles (Beltsville, MD) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 13. Suitland will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 0-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Flowers (Springdale, MD).
