Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - McDowell Philipsburg-Osceola

In Wednesday's non-league match, the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) volleyball squad prevailed the host McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA), by a final score of 2-0.

Next up, the Mountaineers confront the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 9. Philipsburg-Osceola will attempt to advance on its 16-12 season record. The Golden Tigers enter the match with a 16-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA).

With the loss, McDowell drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA) to clash with the Bison in a District 10 Region 5 bout on Thursday, October 9. The Bison come into the bout with a record of 9-4. Fort LeBoeuf won 3-1 in their recent league bout against General McLane (Edinboro, PA)
