The Highlanders (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Delcastle Technical (Wilmington, DE). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Delcastle Technical was beaten by Middletown (Middletown, DE), 3-0, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets face the William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE) in a Blue Hen - Flight A test, on Monday, October 13. Newark will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Colonials go into the test with a 1-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Odessa (Townsend, DE).
