In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Westminster Christian Academy Crusaders volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Notre Dame Pioneers.

The Crusaders (19-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Edmund (Eunice, LA). The Fighting Blue Jays enter the Division V District 2 challenge with a 11-9 record.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA) in a Division IV District 3 challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Notre Dame will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA).
