Pennsylvania High School Football - Apollo Ridge succumbs to Shady Side Academy

The Shady Side Academy Bulldogs thwarted the visiting Apollo Ridge Vikings football team by a count of 28-14 in Saturday's league outing.
With the win, Shady Side Academy upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Steel Valley (Munhall, PA) to encounter the Ironmen in a WPIAL AA Allegheny outing on Friday, October 15. The Ironmen go into the outing with a record of 6-0. Steel Valley won 40-6 in their recent league outing against Summit Academy (Herman, PA)
With the loss, Apollo Ridge moves to 2-5 on the season. The Vikings host Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA) to encounter the Eagles in a WPIAL AA Allegheny outing on Friday, October 15. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 7-0. Serra Catholic won 2-0 in their recent league outing against Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA)
