The South Fork/Edinburg/Morrisonville Ponies football team (Kincaid, IL), was beaten 30-22 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans (Bushnell, IL)
The Spartans (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Aquin Catholic (Freeport, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Aquin Catholic was beaten by Milledgeville (Milledgeville, IL), 48-28, in a league challenge.
The Ponies now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milford/Cissna Park for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 16. South Fork/Edinburg/Morrisonville will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 52-14 league win over Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon (Farmer City, IL). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-3.
