In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Sycamore Spartans soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Hononegah Indians.
The Spartans (16-3) will now prepare for their battle against DeKalb (DeKalb, IL). The Barbs come into the non-league battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, DeKalb nudged Central (Burlington, IL), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
