In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Philip Scotties volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Ipswich Tigers.
The Scotties (21-5) will now prepare for their battle against Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD). The Battlers come into the non-league battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] achieved victory over Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Lyman Raiders (Presho, SD) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 9. Ipswich will attempt to advance on its 12-11 season record. The Raiders come into the battle with a 1-16 record after their 3-1 league loss to Kadoka (Kadoka, SD).
