The Mascoma Royals football team (Canaan, NH), was tipped 7-6 in Monday's league challenge with the host Franklin Tornadoes (Franklin, NH)
The Tornadoes (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Newport (Newport, NH). The Tigers come into the Division IV challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Newport nipped Bishop Brady (Concord, NH), 35-0, in a league challenge.
The Royals now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Winnisquam for a Division IV challenge on Saturday, October 14. Mascoma will meet a Bears team coming off a 48-0 league win over Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH). The Bears record now stands at 2-3.
